Hydden’s first release of 2025 has the following exciting updates.

Redesigned Identity Posture Dashboard

The Redesigned Identity Posture Dashboard paves the way for more changes to come in the Hydden UI. Redesigned widgets with click-thru functionality to query results allow data dives into an organization’s Identity Attack Surface.

Identity Mapper Updates

Hydden continuously updates the functionality of the Identity Mapper. This release brings more options to customize identity mapping.

Refer to the Account Mapping Rules topic for details.

Resolved Issues

This release addresses the following issues:

  • MFA state changes were not updated during data collections.
  • Failed login events for Azure not correctly reported.
  • Search Library Queries:
    • The General Account Query did not work with the Account Name filter.
    • The Direct Group Membership Query did not work with the Member Name filter.

Google Cloud Platform and Workspace Collectors

The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Workspace Collectors are now available as configurable data sources. Also, refer to the Data Source Configuration overview topic.

Account Mapping and Identity Creation Rules

Account Mapping Rules are now available as a configurable feature on Hydden tenants. Also, refer to the Data Source Configuration overview topic, to learn about the changes on the Add Data Source modal for the customizable mapping rules.

Global Search Redesign

This release delivers phase 1 of the Global Search redesign.

Classification Rules

Classifications and Classification Rules provide a fine-tuning option for data queries. To configure, navigate to Configuration | Identify and select the Classification Rules tab.

Data Store Replication and Backup/Restore

With the rollout of the Data Store Replication feature, primary tenant owners can configure data replication and utilize backup and restore options.

X.509 Certificates

Tenant owners can use the Certificates configuration page to generate X.509 certificates for Web Services used in their environment.

This week’s Hydden release features the following changes.

New Threat Rule: Z-Score for Account Group Membership

The Account Z-Score threat rule provides the ability to detect accounts with group membership outside the standard distribution for accounts on a data store. It allows the selection of a min/max Z-Score and a min/max Mean group membership to identify potential outliers for account group membership on a platform.

With the introduction of the Account Z-Score threat rule, a new report is available under the Search Library’s Group reports. The Account Z-Score report displays the calculated mean and standard deviation values.

Improved Messaging on Manual Identity Imports

Improved status messages are provided while manually importing identity data via CSV files. Manual identity imports are referenced in the tenant audit log.
