Does Hydden keep historical data? | Yes, our UI offers a data time machine, which allows users to look at data when the first data collection for their tenant started. |
How do I delete a client? | Refer to the Delete a client topic. |
What operating systems do you support for on-premises installations? | The server component is a single file installed much like a client. We have compatibility to install on Linux, MacOS, and Windows. We can also support Kubernetes containers, which can be leveraged on-prem or in a private cloud. |
Where can the SaaS solution be hosted where Hydden manages the infrastructure for me? | By default, our solution is hosted in Azure. However, we are not using any Azure-specific services, so it can be hosted in GCP or AWS. The solution is one codebase so it can be used on premises, in any cloud, or in a hybrid mixture. |
Why is there no local authentication method offered with the product? | We expect customers to plan for a primary and backup identity provider in case there are situations where your primary OIDC provider is down. Customers need to build resilience within their identity provider architecture. Additionally, Hydden does not want to add to the list of vendors you work with where there may be additional risk if local authentication is an option. For these reasons, we have decided to offer authentication with providers such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon Cognito, or any other provider that supports the OIDC protocol. |
