Storage
On the Storage page Hydden tenant owners can view configured data replication information for their primary tenant. Data replication is available for all clients with configured data sources.
Setting up replication of your data sources data store, allows you to create a local back-up that you can use to restore or migrate data.
Use the Backup button to backup the data store(s). The backup encrypts data and you will need to save the secret key in your vault to be able to access the backup later to restore data.
Use the Restore button to restore from your saved backups. You will be prompted for the backup secret prior to the system restoring your data.
NOTE: For cloud customers this is a Hydden managed feature and customers should contact Hydden support to discuss setting up data replication.
On-prem customers please contact Hydden support to discuss system specifications before enabling data replication.
How to Enable Replication
Navigate to Configuration | Discover, select the Clients tab.
In the table row with the client for which you wish to enable the data store replication, select the Edit button.
In the Modules field, add Data Store.
Click Update.
Repeat this Clients step for all clients in your table with data sources that need replication.
Navigate to Configuration | Settings, select Storage to view your replication status.
Each Data Sources configured receives its own replicated data store.
