Users

Hydden administrators need to grant access to users that are registering with the portal. These users can either self-register if they know the company tenant or register via an invitation link.

Inviting Users

  1. Navigate to Configuration, then select Access | Users.

  2. Click + Add User.

  3. On the Add User modal, enter the user’s Name and Email.

  4. In the provider field, select an authentication provider, for example, Microsoft.

  5. Click Add.

The Hydden tenant sends an email with an invitation link to the user. The user then follows the Initial Sign-in steps to access Hydden.

The administrator can see if a sign-up following an invitation is pending:

Permitting Users

Users can register without an invitation from a tenant administrator. If a user knows the tenant information, they go through the registration process and enter the existing tenant name. The tenant administrators receive a notification that a user registration is pending. Users are not able to sign-in until their registration has been approved by an administrator.

On the Settings | Tenants page, the administrator needs to approve the assignment:

Deleting Users

  1. To delete a user, navigate to the user table under Access | Users.

  2. Locate the row with the user to be deleted and select the trash bin at the right of the user entry row.

  3. Confirm that you wish to delete the user, click OK.
